Gandalf, when he was grey, would not even touch the ring. He knew he was not strong enough to resist. Even after defeating his own personal demon (the Balrog) and becoming white he would not pass the test. Frodo trusted her and she did pass.

what a disaster if she got that ring ...she telling him that stuff to make him offer it up ..she was very much tempted by it...she was no angel. But she prevailed in the end but geez all shall love me and despair...sounds like my former boss..she made act like they liked her and really didnt and was completel miserable under tyranny. power hungry woman in power yikes. lol
