don't you think the shots of bobby and donna were amazing? nobody does it like lynch. no one.

it still troubles me. the way they did it, so out of the blue. this scene..."i'm so sorry." it's ridiculously sad and beautiful.

This show was *amazing*! I've never been the same since, I'm ruined!

*One* of the best scenes of the series, even though it was part of the 2nd season.

this is the most memorable episode in tv series history, I was dazzled from the beginning to the end by the ethereal music and atmosphere

I think if I worked on the production of that show it would have got me just as emotional as the crew. Even 20 years later when I watch this, I get tears. I was 18 when I saw this originally air, and it upset me so much that night; I still remember exactly where I was, and how I felt after watching this on ABC.

I read that when they were filming this scene, the athmosphere got so powerful everyone in the crew started to cry. Dana Ashbrook (Bobby) wasn't even supposed to be shooting that day, but he was hanging around the set so they took him in. Especially his expressions are what makes my heart ache in this.. well, actually, so is everything else. It's so stunningly touching. Also the earlier moment when Laura whispers her killer's name in Dale's ear is something extraordinary.
