OK, imagine holding a hammer and a nail. You want to hold the nail and hit the nail right on it's head with the hammer to drive it into the wood. Sarah hit's herself on the thumb, no maybe even on her wrist with this song. Her Ave maria was maybe as bad as this.

This comment may come as surprisingly late, but I'm not an active member of the Youtube community. Nevertheless I want to say a couple of things about this: First, I never said Sarah Brightman is not a talented musician. I was just referring to your comment which stated that she is the best female singer, which is in itself a comparison to other musicians. I can think of other artists that are better based on specific criteria. Individualism is not, in itself, an indicative of talent.

the reason why some people suicided from this song is because the phrases of the music lead into absolute despair. the begging shows the question of why they are so depressed. then middle gives more depression. at the end shows that the answer is the reason why they are depressed in the first place. thus the amplification of their depression leading to suicide.
