Mwesch (The Machine is Us/ing Us) said he made it with CamStudio for the screen captures and Sony Vegas for the panning/cropping/zooming animations.

Nice interesting post! But, have you seen what happens if you put diamonds in a blender? Check it out blend.lostfrog 'dot' com

I was thinking it could be made with Adobe After Effects or something similar ... I will give it a try.
kohlerwoorx (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
I think that was probably a *huge* amount of production work.
alint7 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Cool, I will try that. What about the original "Web2.0 movie"? Do you have any ideas how are all those effects made? Thanks.
kohlerwoorx (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
You can just do that with the zoom/pan feature/tool in Camtasia.
alint7 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Yes, that I figured it out. But how are the zoom in / zoom out effects done? I believe the movie recorded with Camtasia is edited using some software.
kohlerwoorx (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Camtasia.
