nah dude, paul never liked tremolo bridges, he always prefered the stability of the fixed bridges, so he asked ibanez to make his signature model string-thru body, i think!

Its a fixed bridge. He took out the floating bridge and filled up the hole and placed a fixed bridge in there.

I love how he's slightly changing the tone whilst singing at the first verse. ^^ He's probably a bit "anal" about his tone, which I guess you have to be at his level.
