It´s normal in Japan to have subtitels this way, especially in NHK. And it´s rather not for Karaoke. It´s just information. This is very good for foreigners and people with bad ears. They do it with news, too.

This is an amazing. Melody is amazing and flows really well. I was just confused about one thing. Why do they have Japanese subtitles over the Japanese part and English subs over the English part. Wouldn't it make sense to do it opposite, (so everyone understands)? Or am I missing the point of them.
