This is outdated, with some automated script I did, put monitor mode, arp replay - airodump then aircrack I can do it under a minute.

Gregorpm- You were using NetStumbler, right? It doesn't differentiate between WEP and WPA. It registers both as WEP. With that said, how did you know that you had found a WEP network and not a WPA?

yea but if i hack ur computer adn have KEYLOGGER on this hack when you put in the PASSWORD for your encryption ill have ur PASSWORD adn dont need to decrypt the files myself so whats the point of encryption if your computer is hacked

you must encrypt to protect your files.
it's very difficult to hack some tipes of encryption, some are just imposible to decrypt.
now, wep encryption sucks, and more..all the wireless methods to protect your signal are poor.

ENCRYPTIONS = random stuff to protect your files
HACKER = gets your passwords and everything on your computer
THE QUESTION???
Is there any point to encrypting your files because if your HACKED wont the hacker just get the password for the ENCRYPTED files???
