Did she ever regain any of her eyesight? It looks like in some of her happier videos, she is able to see. I hope so.

Thanks for such a nice comment. (Her shoes were small and made my feet sore.)

not properly educated? i mean, were these people need to be educated just for them to know that what were they doing was right? i mean even criminals have their rights as a human, how come they hadn't seen that solveig was a special case and she needed more care than just anybody.. me God.. she doesn't deserved to be treated that way...sigh..
RichardNorton (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Solveig was an extremely difficult person to work with. The people that were hurting her were not properly educated to work with her. It is the responsibility of the institutions administration to see to it that the people around her are qualified and provide a working environment where this sort of thing doesn't happen.
mer9705 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
why were they hurting her there in that institution?

Richard,
You are a very compassionate person. Not just towards animals but towards people as well! I wish there were more people like you in this world! :)
