I've been dancing on point now for forty years and my feet are not ruined. They may be the ugliest duck feet you've ever seen but they are still really strong!!!

If a person starts dancing en pointe when their feet are strong enough and they've been taking ballet for years and they are ready, the won't ruin their feet. A dancer would only ruin their feet if they start dancing en pointe before they are ready, or if they don't dance safely.
