i think he did because while he was holding the feather from meroko and looked at mitsuki he started having flashbacks and mitsuki started crying cuz i think she knew he remembered her. but in the manga he did remember her at the end.

sigh i read the description of the anime/manga.
does she at least meet up with im after she kicks it..or what? lol. i dont want to watch her go through so much then hes already kicked it...then i cry and whine about watching an anime that was pretty much pointless. lol. any anime where someone works hard for something and it just poops out in the end- its pointless. the story line sounds good but..do they really not see eachother? is there ANY happiness?
