Why so angry? Well first of all I have played guitar over 13 years. I have watched Hendrix videos and listened to hendrix music over five years. It seems to me that Mitch is bored, because Hendrix's guitar was out of tune at this concert for example when playin' Voodoo Child. I think that Mitch doesn't like Hendrix when Hendrix s playing after taking drugs. Mitch is in fact much more musical than Hendrix was. Jimi is bored at the beginning of this song and while playing it.

In my opinion the most awesome foxy lady version is the version that Jimi played at Maui. I have played guitar over 13 years. To me it seems that jimi plays too many times main the main riff here. He should have played some cool licks with the pentatonic scale more instead of playing just the main riff. It seems to me also that Mitch Mitchell is quite bored to play with Hendrix here because Jimi don't concentrate much on his playing. His guitar is also at too high volume.

BTW. This Foxy Lady is up there with Berkeley, Woodstock, Fillmore East and maybe even Oakland Coliseum version as one of the best ever! Who seriously speaks shit over this show and this version is a moron! People need to realise that till this show Jimi haven't slept for 3 days and even by all the problems with his gear and guitar he still totally owned the guitar and kicked some serious shit on the stage! Magnificent! One of his best concerts from the 1970 tour!

I said one of the best, not the best! Also this concert is one of his best concerts from the 1970 tour. And about the drugs, that is hard to say and it totally doesn't matter. This version is one of his best versions ever. A totally crazy and a minblowing jam version of Foxy Lady. He was fucked up a bit cause the pants split up, but it didn't matter a bit. He totally kicked some serious ass and it all ended up amazing!

In my opinion, this version is not the best Foxy Lady version. This can not compared with woodstock version. You know, Jimi is very much more drugs here than in Woodstock. You can see that from her face expressions and guitar sounds..He messes up with the solo - which is improvised. And a a thing..Although this video has much better quality than woodstock and other concert videos it doesn't mean that Hendrix is playing better here that in woodstock for example.
