There's no shortage of fine recordings of Gibbons on harpsichords, in historically-informed style. I love hearing Gould's interpretation, which is very pianoistic and very individual. It's not how I'd play it (especially the sparse, staccato parts, which would very empty on a harpsichord), but it's still beautiful.

yes...there is a cd of his compositions available. i don't believe he actually plays on it but it was recorded under his direction.
