Yes I did. Although I only familiar with the Dave - Bernard - Sid solution on C64. I could only get past Purple Tentacle with the Meteor Police badge, and the inner door code came from the Meteor Mess arcade game...

Your speedruns are great, but I wish that they didn't omit the talking, cut scenes and most of the actions, then they'd be like really interesting cartoons rather than montages.

lol
you obviously haven't beaten it yet

I still have this jewel on my C=64, and I bet you couldn't finish it in 9 minutes :P
I never played the PC-version, but the whole game looks like fast-forwarded. Plus it definitely uses a load of bugs... how come Purple Tentacle doesn't move in the lab? And where did you get the code for the inner door??

what are those green freaks?
hardercorky (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
yes I remember you had to look trough a telescope to get the code for the door, you had to put a dime on it to use it and everything.
KirbyY15 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
ah ok now i understand yeah the purple tentacle will take you to the dungeon
Berndt32 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
I mean the evil purple tentacle in the lab, not the friendly green tentacle!
And I spoke about the code for the secret lab door. Normally you have to play the video game in order to get the code.

how can it be that the door opens in my version it won't work |
