Agreed! I learnt TM over 10 years ago and have never looked back. Its the best stress-management technique out there. Wouldnt be without it. Lynch is a real champion of TM because it exapaned his horizons too. He's now got tens of thousands of kids in schools in south America etc doing TM daily. Completely agree with you - trying to decipher the plot, characterization, dialogue, et cetera from the film only decreases your appreciation for it. Since it is a human instinct to try to deduce what our surroundings are, Lynch takes us to a new level - that requires a fluid mind and an existentialist mindset.
