Mythbusters Moon Hoax Photo Explanations

Apollo doubters never seem to come up with their own photos of seedy, back-room hoax meetings, actors, directors or sets in the desert. However, they love to pick on Apollo photos! Unfortunately, they often lack even basic understanding of photographic realities. Here, the crew from "Mythbusters" defuses 2 popularly proposed Apollo photo objections. No, in a half-hour show, they can't explain 100s of photos. Don't bother suggesting that Mythbusters is actually proving that photos can be faked. These little photos aren't THAT good! And that's not the point of their experiment. The purpose was not to prove it's impossible duplicate an effect. They proved that shadows can appear at uneven angles. They proved shadows don't always look parallel on uneven surfaces. They've proved that an astronaut's image can properly be exposed even if he's in a shadow. Taking a couple of (less than convincing) still image of a toy model doesn't explain thousands of images and dozens of hours of video, retroreflectors on the moon, rock samples, etc.

Republican? Ok, so what about Apollo 8 during LBJ's presidency?

So, how did they get the shadows parallel for the first shot?
Hairysteed (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
So, how would it require two light sources then?

^^^ Or pro-create, or work around children and small animals.

Hey moron, The model the "Myth Busters" used proved that the reflectivity of the moons surface would make the "erect" astronaut visible and without shadow. For this experiment they used a light you buy at a hardware store. The results were satisfactory, the scale astronaut was not blackened. The difference between this shot and the shot on the moon is that Outer space is not lit by hardware store lights. IT IS LIT BY THE FUCKING SUN!

"This shit is elementary, but people like you are not all there" haha.. Hypocrisy.. And an argument with tons of fallacies. I'm pretty sure you need to get outside more. Looking at all this propaganda on youtube evidently, is too much for you as you're either extremely mentally unstable or even more so gullible. I bet you believe in John Titor and the events of 2012 too.

okay ;)

I have done professional work with 3D software and I know what parallel lines are (I passed 3rd grade after all). They showed here that lines can appear to be non-parallel even when there is only one light source. Objective accomplished.

I suggest u first get an idea of what parallel things are and how parallel shadows are produced and then post a comment. Every 3D designer knows it. Ask one...

Actually their objective (which they achieved if you were paying attention) was to show that the shadows can appear non-parallel even with only 1 light source (like the sun, which is what the situation on the moon was). They are addressing one claim at a time, pay attention.
