Shortchanging Our Veterans

How do we reward our veterans for putting their lives on the line? Most soldiers say they want an education, and plan to pay for it using benefits provided under the GI Bill. But today's benefits wouldn't even cover the costs of a single year at a prestigious private university. For more than 400,000 servicemen and women returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, it's a rude awakening.
