lil wayne is to rap skills as pootie is to tang. No comparison with Rakim. Rakim had a skill that most fools couldn't achieve after the early 90s..that is, to rap to the beat, and stay on it. Even JayZ couldn't keep his lyrics to a beat without a music teacher. Rakim used to rock the muslim tip, when it was popular with rappers, about 15 years ago. When was the last time you heard a rapper call himself Ali Shaheed Muhammad. That was an early-mid 90s fad and haven't heard it since.
