Toyota is at least 8years ahead od every othe auto maker in regards to their synergy drive system... they invented it,,, they have years of tech data that allows them to bring newer better systems faster than anyone. Peugeot may bring something to the market first but Toyota is and has been testing deisel hybrids for years...untill the greatest product is ready for release.

Japanese technology is impressive, very impressive. But the problem with the is their ferociousness. They could become on top by simply sitting down and watching GM trying to catch up for several years, but instead they have no mercy. They're trying to destroy GM as well as any other competition. An then we'll have monopolium. The western world will become poor, poeple will be starving, have no jobs and so. Just my little prediction.

Wrong, I'd say very wrong. First one to overcome the diesel hybrid problems was PSA. I read about it about month ago and they'll be the first to produce diesel hybrid vehicles.

Did you know that car pollution account for less than about 2 % of hole in the ozone layer? (rhetorical)
