To all of you skeptics: If you trust those who claim that scientists are conspiring to form a socialist world and swindle us in order to take our money, why don't you trust the people that present empirical evidence?

Who are these experts?! Aren't there conflicting views about the evidence?! This is why scienctific organisations exsist. AAAS and NAS are the largest and most prestigous scientific organisations, at least in the US, AAAS is made up of over 140,000 members and NAS has over 2000 members of which 1 in 10 are nobel prize winners. These guys know what they are talking about! And they BOTH issued statements supporting that human intervention is very likely too have caused global climate change!

Again, I ask...are you a scientist? Are you trained to be able to look at evidence and be able to draw sensible conclusions? As i take it, you are not a scientist then why are YOU even trying to analyse the evidence?!?! I appreciate that we should be skeptical of information given out by anyone...and should try to at least understand some of the details. However, Climate science is really damn complicated...Listen to the experts.

I completely agree with sidneydoc, we hear only doomsday propaganda, no evidence, not ever, the arctic was warmer in the 1930's by the way, there are more polar bears than ever, and it has been getting colder since year 2000, belief without evidence is faith, what we are seeing is the birth of a new religion, how extreme is this "eco-inquisition" going to get, maybe there are real enviro-problems we can spend our money on

Only one piece of evidence? There are many...take your pick. To be honest it will make litle difference to you opinion because simply put, you aren't a scientist, nor am I...and when given a heap of scientific evidence to wade through we are just too inexperienced to make a reasonable and rational conclusion. The great news is...we dont have too! This is what we pay scientists for! And guess what...they (NAS, AAAS, IPCC) say that humans are to blame.

How many Exxon trolls does it take to NOT change a lightbulb? Six ... One to dispute whether the bulb is actually broken. One to argue that changing the bulb against its will would be a Commie plot against liberty. One to argue that electromagnetism is "only a theory" - so changing the bulb would be buying into the "hoax" of electricity. One to question the motives of those wanting to change the bulb. One to assert that darkness is fine, because it's part of "natural variability" in life.
