This is amazing. I play flute and I cannot even understand how that kind of sound comes out of a flute. If they play Bach in the heaven, they'd play this... (By definition, they have to play this. lol)

This is a big issue that professionals have been arguing over. It is not confirmed whether or not it was written by CPE Bach or JS Bach simply because no one had found the original transcript.
Personally, I lean to JS because of a certain style [not really style, but I can't name it] unique to JS is in the first movement. However, he could have taught his son this [and if so, CPE learned it really well].
There is no way to confirm either side w/o the original.

this piece is now not believed to be written by Johan sebastian Bach... it is most likely written by Carl Emmanuel Bach, his son...
