Amazing talent. Too bad she died, no matter for what reason. It was a great loss to the music industry.
Also no one turn her into a heroin addict. She had a mind of her own, and chose to do it.

I believe that Janis would have died regardless of the band she was with. BBHC, was raw, had an edge, no polish, like Janis in the beginning. Sam Andrew and James Gurley were raging heroin addicts as well as Janis. It was Peggy Casserta who turned Janis on to heroin again after a year of her being clean. Janis died because of her addiction, not because of a change in band, in my opinion. Either way, she is sorely missed. At least BBHC still tours and plays. Peace.
