Baguazhang, xingyi and taijiquan can not be fused with modern wushu. These styles need no modification. They are pure. Cheng bagua is often called swimming bagua because Cheng Tinghua had a very illusive type of footwork with his shuajiao. This translates in his very famous version of bagua. Wushu people favor his because it is more asthetically appealing than Yin style. It flows more.

I'm not sure if anyone else noticed but this guy is actually really impressive. I mean he actually had to walk on those bricks. Of course, he wasn't really carrying those heavy things but his steps coordination was amazing. He probably was a Bagua practitioner.
