You know, on one hand I get people who say "I don't want to hear an artist's political views," but at the same time, I tend to side with the artist. Vedder feels like he's in a position of influence (which I think he is), or at the very least has the opportunity to voice his opinion to a great number of people willing to listen (which he undisputably has). I say if he's got the opinion and feels like he can say something to help, more power to him... Have I used up the character count yet? lol

Yes, we have many Bush haters here. This performance supports the notion of "Shut up and sing." Conservative or liberal, I do not want to hear the political views of any artist. Eddie is extremely talented. However, his liberal rants are too predictable and spoil the performance. Check out PJ unplugged for his views on abortion. We are blessed that his mother did not choose to abort him. Stand in line behind the Dixie Chicks who won numerous awards just for being Bush haters.
