Actually, Tony isn't even doing what JC has done. He's actually doing more of what Yuen Biao has done mixed w/ parkour. JC's stunts are more Evel Knievel-like mixed w/ Buster Keaton. In JC's case, his most famous stunts came before parkour was even invented. Hence, he was a pioneer.

dude i hear u, those old movies are untouchable, the Operation Condor series, the Project A series, and just about every movie where he partnered with Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao.
He's too sick, no wires.

No Asian kung fu star stands on a equal level to what Jackie Chan has done for martial arts movies.
He did stunts that no one even attempted in his prime. tony ja just recently has done similar things about 20yrs after jackie chan had already done them.
And the only star to have major hits in the west aswell...........
Watch jackies old movies you will see what he is about.

Jackie has so many crazyass stunts that just about any top ten list seems to make sense. Jackie is the real action star.
And Tony Jaa does a lot of "cool" stunts that look good, but Jackie Chan does a lot of "holy shit, did he really do that?" kind of stunts and it makes him a beast all on his own. No one can even begin compete with Jackie when it comes to stunts.

I know who Tony Jaa is and I've seen what he can do. He's incredibly lame compared to Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, or even Jet Li. At the same age of 32, JC has made box office classics like Drunken Master, Project A, and Police Story. Bruce died around that age and he was already an icon. While Jet became a superstar w/ the award-winning Once Upon a Time in China series. What does Tony have, Ong Bak??? LOL!!! Sorry pal, Tony's stunts are child's play compared to JC's.

神は、実に、そのひとり子をお与えになったほどに、世を愛された。それは御子を信じる者が、ひとりとして滅びることなく、永遠のいのちを持つためである。
For God had such love for the world that he gave his only Son, so that whoever has faith in him may not come to destruction but have eternal life.
