the message is: the traditional teaching methods that have been around for many decades are going to have to change as students social habits, technological awareness and expectancies change. It relates to the way young people now manage their lives, and the way teaching MUST change to get with the times.

dude the professor at the college made the video it isn't about college students whining about life but just putting their lives in perspective and how technology is advancing and how busy we are becoming. what i said isn't all of what it is about but what i got from the video which is clearly more than you.
