so... if he do not sing like FD must no sing? Can´t be good? NOthing like Hermann Prey, for example de JOY that he put´s on his sound in Die Schone Mullerin something I do not listen in any FD performance. You can prefer a singer but not in that way to demote other artist just because you like more to listen one more than other. And I like, by the way, to listenr REAL BARITON VOICES (like TQ) singing lieder.

Quasthoff is a good Lieder's singer. But I think, he's better in Baroque music. His interpretation of Bach is great.

he´s a good singer, but i simply don´t like his singing.(it has nothing to do with his handycap) i know it´s a matter of taste but fischer-dieskau (i absolutely adore him!) is simply one of the best baritones of all time and quasthoff will never come close to fischer-dieskau, because (face it!) he will never reach his level.
