He and his girlfriend. (A female he stayed with through the winther - not at my place) were released into the wild. The reason why I took him in was because he was too young/ small to survive the winther. They should weight 450 g and he was only 250 g (he was born too late to put on enough fat to hibernate).

Update on my satanic neighbor,who tried to poison my cats with weed killer.A possum got in his attic last winter, while he was replacing boards on his house. It had babies up there.First he trapped it in a haveaheart trap.Then he left it in the cage w/o food or water for 3 or 4 days, while the babies died.(He showed me one, he found inside the roof.)Then he took the possum out to the highway and released it.(The only nice thing)
