Beware Holiday Scams!

This is a warning about a common holiday scam that I was recently tricked by, and that continues to catch out hundreds of unsuspecting holidaymakers ever year. I lost nearly £1000 but it could have been a lot worse. If you are going on holiday to a European destination this summer, you better check this video out first! DISCLAIMER: Not all holiday clubs are bad, but beware of ones that abduct you from the streets with lies about winning a free holiday, beware the ones that want a big up front payment and particularly beware ones that dont let you go home and think about it before signing a contract that entitles them to thousands of euros! The animations in this were made on "The Movies" game by Lionheart, sorry that there is a graphical glitch in a few scenes, maybe if I hadnt given £1000 to these con artists I could afford a decent graphics card! Got an experience with a holiday club, good or bad? Post it here ! (Dont post the company names please)

Glad you didn't loose the 8K mate! - these people are scum....

I would go as far as to say that do not accept any offers on the street. My only holiday in Mallorca, we were approached twice and was able to say NO. So please even without thinking "Just say NO".

You are talking to no one else but benjamin1d. Look & listen to the clip again; your'l notice the so called customer is asked for an additional 8K. It's nothing short of bullshit.

OK monkey...This is an intelligent bloke here, intelligent enough to make a good video...who sells his own holiday club product. He bought the product, what if it was everything it was sold to him ?? ) I know its not) but how can you be scammed if u put a deposit on an item and then cancel?? You are missing the point..a bit like benjamin1D

It is a scam. I am 'asstounded' @ your pathetic comment. Should I come accross you or any of your club @ home or abroad I will investigate you like no bodies business.

Yes, I had parents go through similar years ago. The tactic of taking a deposit is classic, and then they say more money due before it is valid. Never associate your'selves with this kind.! They will ruin your recooperation, relaxation, and thought pattern. In short, they are sent from hell to annoy and rob. Your on holiday; already paid for - you got what you came for. Do not spoil it by accepting cretans into your lifestyle.
