The shaping of Zimbas behaviour with a clicker

This video demonstrates the shaping of the Bengal cat Zimbas behaviour with a clicker. The clicker has previously been established with Zimba as a conditioned reinforcer for operant behaviour. The behaviour I chose to train was to pick up a wine bottle cork and move it a few centimetres. Perhaps this behaviour could be developed into something useful like finding the scissors I never seem to be able to find. We have been training this in several sessions during the past 3 days. The total training time is about 1 hour and 7 minutes.

Richard, are you a cat trainer or just like to use methods to train cats? Where can I find the clicker?

You should look at my video "How to train a cat to operate a light switch." Richard
