very true that people need to have thier own jazz style. but not everyone has one. josh is redic! and has a shit lot of music cred. but im sure he didnt just do it on his own. he has stole or borrowed ideas from others players.

I think you're right about the horns. James Carter plays Lawton mouthpieces with plasticover reeds (I don't know if he still uses those). According to his website, Joshua Redman plays 7 or 7* vintage rubber Links with superial reeds.

Nope completely serious. lol. Jk. I just figured because if i cast these two in a movie based on there playing. Joshua is very thoughtful methodical. James is more spontaneous, on the edge. like good cop bad cop. But they both can swing and play no other. love em both
