Animals have an emotional intelligence beyond what most humans can understand or comprehend.
I think anyone who's lived with one and is open to it will know that.
I have a Congo grey named Zeus and he is so smart. Birds are such intelligent creatures..
Aww, dear Alex, RIP. Bought this book, it's so good, highly suggest it.

I heard he plucked out his feathers when Dr. Pepperberg left him to go on a long trip and he was stressed because she was gone. That makes sense because parrots become very bonded to one person.

obviously stressed, parrots live a lot longer in the wild and he had been plucking his feathers poor thing, animal exploitation, hideous, on par with a chimp wearing clothes. i watch wildlife documentaries and see film of these birds in the wild flying in flocks over the amazon rain forest then to see this shocking. |
