The song is called "sing, sing, sing, with a swing". I want to say Benny Goodman did a version of it or perhaps even wrote it. I know the song from watching the movie "Swing Kids". If you haven't seen it you should check it out.

Actually Gwen Verdon was an amazing choreographer, I think she may have done more than she has been given credit for, including many sequences from Chicago.

babbagecabb YOU SPEAK OF WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW!!! Fosse choreographed every step of this dance! It was from the musical DANCIN' and was restaged for the musical FOSSE. I know . . . I was in the studio for both incarnations of this number!

The notes of the chorography was Fosse's. They used the notes from all the chorographies and that's how they recreate the pieces.
