Get over it. Does God scare you that much? No one was pushing religion on you! That is what freedom is all about. Don't be so narrow-minded.

I agree- A woman who has heart, determination, great character, loves her country, has morals, no arrogance but modesty has no business being a vp! I'm so glad we elected an anti-white, anti-American, terrorist-loving communist who makes fun of everyone who doesn't agree w/ him! I can't wait to pay taxes so lazy minorities can sit on their asses. I also can't wait to do manadory community service! Obama '08 YES WE CAN !!

Got it - so traveling to other countries now makes one un-American. That is what the Republican party has become, I guess. And do you honestly not know how to spell Pakistan, or are you mentally disabled or something? "She admires this country because she wants what is best for it." What does that even mean?

If you are concerned so much with the growth of government then why not support the Libertarian party. As far as the Constitution it is the Palin crowd that is attacking it by making America about a certain religion, or name or town. Liberty not a name like joe makes one American.

Thank you!You should NOT vote for Obama then,He's upset that our founders didnt make provisions ,for quotethe distribution of wealth. He believes the documnet is "fundamentally flawed"He's trying to re-shape the very document that's the cornerstone of our country and the main reason the United States is a success story. The US is more successful culturally, spiritually, financially, militarily than any country in the history of the world.Obama wants to change that.Change isnt always good

Mark Twain, An American writer, stated that traveling is essential to open ones mind to different human experiences and expanding your knowledge of others. Palins pentecostal background is a very small bubble indeed. What makes one American? Their name? Their religion or race? Being from a small town? NO. America should be grand and expansive not small and petty. It is the Constitution and the Bill of rights not superficial things that make one American.

Freedom from government yes and freedom from a government that makes one have to be of a certain religion to be called American. The US Constitution is clear that one cannot be favored because of race or religion. Yes some founders were christian but others were not-some pretty important ones- Paine, Jefferson, Madison, Franklin..ect...America should be bigger than a religious faction...and it is. America is a country of immigrants with different backgrounds who believe in liberty.

You are awfully presumptive: "no knowledge of our country" based on what? growing up in Indonesia...traveling to Pahkeestan when she was 20? She admires our country because she wants what is best for it and knows how to accomplish what is best. Nobama wants to make us socialist - socialism DOESN'T work.

It amazes me that someone with no knowledge of our country, its history or its future is admired like sarah is.I can only hope that she crawls back to alaska and never comes back.I hope the gop does not look to her as there next candidate in 2012. Come on america we are smart than this!

Right, the U.S. Constitution, the best in the world, is about freedom for all and freedom FROM government. Written by our forefathers to make us independent as a nation and as an individual. It is not about taking money from one person to give it to another. We are the best when we help out of love rather than out of requirement. I think that enough of the Founding Fathers must have been Christians or the country wouldn't have its basis in God. |
