Lol Glasgow is in Scotland mate. And considering "Glasgow Kiss" means to brutally headbutt someone in the face, I don't think the song does capture the essence of it's subject! Don't get me wrong it's a great song but I don't think of headbutts when I listen to it! Coincidentally Glasgow is where my mum is from and Mark Knopfler is from my hometown of Newcastle! (the English one lol)

3.25 - 5.20 reminds me of mark knopfler, which is a fucking good thing i love both these guys they are probably some of the most skilled guitarists ever. Is it just me or does this song just encapsulate what it means to fucking rock, its one of those songs which captures the essence of its subject, this song just gives me the image of ireland in my brain its freakish especially with that main riff.... its downright awesome.
