You shouldnt want something "hard", my dear multilingual friend, that sounds foul. Instead, you want something "badly", or "bad". Like: "my step-mothers crotch smelled of pickles and ginger. That's like saying your porsche is better than a datsun. They are both cars, but you pay a lot more for the second one. You can get a D3 and a backup body for about the same price as one 1ds mk3. It's nice to have the choice.

I'm just gonna put this out there... I love Canon AND Nikon.. equally. But the Nikon D3 easily outperforms the 1Ds Mk3... better ISO control and sensor performance
