I watched this after a couple stephen hawking videos. I'd like to take a second to reflect on the beauty of the age we live in, it is a priviledge to be alive in a time when we can all witness this kind of dialogue between brillian minds with different perspectives. Even the stupid trolls have their place with the random pointless insults they think are funny, they prove all perspectives are being considered.

GoldenKey, Buddhism is no more a cult then Christianity, psychology, or democracy are cults. I'm sure you don't have any knowledge of Buddhism whatsoever, or you might know that Buddhism is 600 years older then Christianity. Or that Christianity, unlike Buddhism actually was a cult in it's beginnings. However, I suppose you don't fancy Christianity a cult, while you do hold the position that Buddhism is. My question to you is why? What makes Buddhism a cult and Christianity not?

Really sad, watching this old video, it is obvious the situation was much better before. In fact there seem to be a real chance of a settlement and rapprochement, but unfortunately look at what happened this year in 2008. I know why it is hard to find a solution, it's because of third party foreigners such as America, India, and possibly others. They will always sabotage any moving rapprochement. All those talks from 2002 suffer serious setback due to riots, and sabotages to Olympics.
