FNC's Bill O'Reilly returned to the Late Show Friday night for round two with David Letterman over Iraq. In the show taped on Monday but not aired until Friday, Letterman expressed disgust with the war: "So we've made a mistake in war, so we stay there and kill as many Americans as we possibly can? That's the way you get out of a mistake?" At another point, Letterman fretted: "It's all about oil. That's why we're there. Big deal." When O'Reilly asserted that "it isn't 'We're a bad country, Bush is an evil liar.' That's not true," Letterman retorted that "I didn't say we were a bad country. I didn't say he was an evil liar" and charged: "You're putting words in my mouth just the way you put artificial facts in your head."

Letterman is a cheese dick, he's not funny, and O'reilly owns him and the BS audience.

An American life is no more important than an Iraqi life. I agree that for sentimental reason people are more saddened by the death of one of their own citizens, but in the end it's still illogical. Everyone is equal, and the biggest tragedy in this war isn't the death of the 3,000 Americans, but the death of the one million Iraqis. But it's extremely idiotic to just reduce all this massive tragedy to statistical numbers. Every single one of those one million deaths is a tragedy in itself.

well ok, i understand your point but we're Americans. We're going to worry about our own first ok? Lets worry about the kid down the block who lost his dad in the war instead of the iraqi ok? i'm not saying that its not important that iraqis are dying, but you have to have ur priorities in the right order dude.

Iraq is a great success? Perhaps the Republican party agrees with you considering the lambasting it got in the last election.

WMDs was not the only reason for the invasion. The corrupt UN is a world problem and the coalition forces ended that problem in Iraq. Clearly, the Al Qaida has been decimated and Iraq has been a great success.

Its a tabloid host versus a late night talk show host. Have they done anything for humanity , like cure cancer or anything.....no. So who cares WTF they have to say.....
