This video is clearly made later, as it shows Bowie in his glam-rock Ziggy Stardust image! Back in '69 he was hippier! This is perhaps made in '72, '73 or so!

for years i thought this was out around 1973/1974 because of its sound. stupendous, spaced out song. bowie must have been doing serious drugs in 1969 based on how his skin and hair look here. was this video made in 1969 when the song was first out or later?

The difference is....David Bowie paved the way for Marilyn Manson. I'm old time Bowie fan in my late 40's and I think Marilyn Manson is a Great Artist (my kids were shocked to here that) but, there can be no comparison to him and David Bowie. David Bowie will always be a man ahead of his time!
