doodelizm (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)

sk8rmidget16 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
my heelflips are much much higher than my kickflips, there is like a foot difference, and ive been doing them much shorter, so i guess they are natural =/ wish my kickflip were too

Hey guys, the problem I have wen i heelflip is that after I flick the board and it is flipping underneath me, just like automatically both my feet stomp down on the board before the grip even comes around lol, to fix this do I need to jump higher and tuck my knees more?? Great vid btw

its because ur jumping foward or kicking straight down
line your two wheels on one side of ur board with a crack in the ground or anything. try to heelflip if u come across that line u will know that your jumping foward. Just keep practicing jumping straight up instead of foward. It might feel a little weird but it will help you improve on your heelflips |
