You're welcome.
The existence of God is plausible to philosophy and is an hypothesis in science. We think that logic is independant of situations Greeks thought it would lead us to the truth.but in fact logic is dependant on the information we have and our point of view in the universe. Logic seems to be "relative" and time-space bound.Maths might be universal logic, but we are not sure.Existence of God is an universal affirmation, relative beeings will find it hard to get Him by logic.

I like how you Atheists take what you THINK you know, and spread it around saying thats what we believe in. Because what your saying in this video is NOT what the Bible says, your taking it and exaggerating it to where it sounds like we are the bad guys or something.

We know that causes are greater to and outside of the effect. Why can't we logical deduce His existence? We do it all the time with EVERYTHING, except of course the universe, which would mean we would have to acknowledge a Creator.
Thanks for your thoughtful response.

Analysis of effects can never fully explain the cause. You are right indeed saying that the Universe cannot be the fist cause.Nature as men say is the mathematical level of the cosmos and everything prisonner to it are micro machines inside that big machine. Machines cannot even think about the causes of their existence. You asks questions then you're not a machine you're more. That's all you can deduce. Existence of God cant be deduced through logical deduction or scientifical investigation.

Thea means "goddess..."
Theist means "the belief in one God as the creator and ruler of the universe..." - positive
Atheist means "a person who denies or disbelieves the existence of a supreme being or beings." - negative
As you see, Atheism is not an assertion there is no god. It is a refusal to accept, on your word only, that there is a Theistic god...
I am willing to concede there could be a deistic entity out there. That is another discussion entirely...
Goodnight.

Something to think about:
Is there a need for a first cause?
Is an infinite regression of causes possible?
If there is a first cause, then we know it cannot be the universe itself. The universe is set and decays, meaning it once had a much higher order than it does now, indicating a beginning.
We examine the effect to determine what the cause, specifically the first cause and cause of the universe.
What would the cause need to like if it produced the universe?

Well you bring a dog into an argument about god... We know a dog exists. I can prove it to you via any medium you wish, even in person. I can bring one around for you to see and many more like it!
Does that compare favourably to a god?
I mean no disrespect to you. Goodnight. |
