Saw this movie a couple of days ago. And yes, as some people have pointed out, the song and the featured video is based on the Carandiru prison massacre, which took place on October 2, 1992. 111 people were killed - all of them prisoners. And as you can see in the Carandiru movie, the police would storm into cells with prisoners that were hiding and gun them all down. Police brutality at its worst.
