They don't need to regulate it more. They need to enforce the laws they currently have more. I have a bunch of hand guns. Why? They're all different and fun and sometimes I like to carry my big one. Other times, I like to carry a small one. Research the Rodney King riots and how business owners defended their businesses with AR's when the police wouldn't come back. The police could not regain control and left. AR's are used for tactical target shooting competitions and hunting as well.

FWIW, Wasr's are not well made from what I hear. Look to get a more quality version. Check for front sight tilt, trigger slap, and how bad the mag wiggles. I had an STG2000 for a while and it was decent. Didn't break the bank, had a good Tapco trigger on it, and of course went boom every time.

well to be honest i like shooting guns. I have before and i prolly will again someday. I do think they need to regulate it more just because of the simple fact that people are flipping out and killing alot more often now. rifles,and shotguns are def needed for hunting and its a tradition for some people..thats ok..but why do we have so many damn handguns and assult rifles? no point man..wtf do u need them for?

Obama is just an idiot. the right to bare arms is not what makes amerika violent. Removing amerika's right to bare arms is going to make innocent people pay with their lives. Lets face it criminals always find a way to get a gun anyways (none or barely any get them legally) And I can speak from experience that over here in Japan we don't have the right to have a gun and we find ways to kill ourselves just fine. In fact usually in a more violent brutal way. (knives, baseball bats...etc)

To this day, I still don't understand why some people are afraid of law abiding people having guns. Thank God for the NRA; without them we wouldn't even have a watchdog around to watch our backs. With each passing day, I grow more afraid of Obama and the "change" he has planned for us. He wants to "change" America into a country we no longer recognize. He's a pawn of the radical pro-environment and anti-war movements. Think about it... a weaker, poorer, and less free America if Obama wins.

I'm getting an AK soon. I think it's either a yugo or a WASR-10. the 'normal' hunting rifle rounds are softer than the 7.62mmx39 so they can cause as much internal trauma and drop a deer as quickly as possible, whereas the 7.62 is armor piercing. I've heard people using Kalashnikovs in hunting and in Florida, you don't need a gun that can knock a fly off of a lizard's ass at 1,000 yards anyway.

You're right. The discrimination against certain guns relies mainly on appearance and not function. Hell, most hunting bolt action rifles fire more powerful rounds than military style rifles. I think I'll paint my next AK white so it won't be one of those 'evil black rifles.' XD

it's bullshit, some guns that would be considered assault weapons would be legal to own under it and some wouldn't and the differences would be almost unnoticeable. as for gun use in home/self defense, my ass, someone breaks into my house i'ma get 'em, if i'm getting money out of the ATM and they pull a knife on me, i'll point it at 'em and if they advance i'ma get 'em. voting rights for criminals? no, they lost that right. all this shit is ridiculous.

Because they can pass a new version of it. They most likely won't if they hope to keep their jobs (look into what happened to most of those who voted for it).
