This is a battle between the TRD hachi roku of Tsuchiya and a suzuki swift from the junior rally team. Notes: ae86 ( 170 ps, 20 valve engine, 970 kg.) Swift ( 218 ps, 1600 cc., 1030 kg.) Torque: 19 kgm / 186 Nm on the swift (i think pretty much the same in both engines.)

The car doesn´t make the driver. Also you need extensive modifacation to make a AE86 good enough. My first "drift car" was a AE86 GTS and it´s a very good car to learn the basics of drifting in but I did not blossom until I got myself an 180SX then the world is open !

I have 11,000 to buy a car like this; please sell me one because I KNOW I KNOW I am a great drifter if I just had the right car. Everyone else is lame compared to how I will drift.

Hahah, the JWRC car could've passed on the first straight. Never seen a clean pass like that before on this touge

I have a sweet 78 vette that is much better because it has murals and neons and a C.B. radio, I'll sell to you for $9000. A real chick magnet too. Only 2 seats for your 'date' and you only. You can drift anywhere in a vette. More power.

lol sry to say this but mt. akina does not exsist in the real world, but there is a real mountain that is called mt. haruna which mt. akina was based on. its awsome really, its complete with the gutters on some of the hairpins which takumi uses.

nine grand for a tired rusted [guessing you dont live in CA] wrecked boy drifter of a car? with 100 horsepower on a good day? No offense I say throw it down on a clean cressida, and use $3000 grand for a reliable 1j swap, 1500-2000 grand on suspension, and the remaining 3 grand spend on track days, tires, and repairs learning how to drive the thing... or a miata, seat time > fast car.. IMHO
