There is an old saying... the bigger you are the harder you fall and thats whats happening to these big greedy companies and thats what they deserve. people have to understand that things change and its always going to cause the markets to fluctuate. so weather its a good economy or bad economy weather your rich or poor.. people have to be smart about their money.

It's called deflation and it's a serious sign of problems yet to come. The Christmas shopping season will be the key here. If it's as bad as predicted, then the retail sector will follow in the deflationary cycle and there will be a mass round of layoffs in that sector which could ride unemployment to near double-digits. I hope this shopping season is not as bad as predicted.

I agree with Corghtoga unions are one of the examples that can cause company choas, example Pan Am and Eastern Airlines wanted more benefit, more money they end up sucide their career and largest airliners in the toliet. Example Boeing had several weeks strikes by unions, they lost millions of dollars daily because they did not finish production on time. Many airliners gave up went for other contractors. American companies using other countries to avoid Unions regulations. They got tired.

Unions. They are the cause of all the BS prices of american vehicles.
