"I´m not sure I called them ALL crooks".. LOL. (About the investment banks CEOs). Jim Rogers is brilliant and Betty Liu, too. And I´m not just talking about her looks, nothing wrong with them though.. :-)

WOW this is great stuff! Let the economy fail, clean out the underbrush and start over. The US would not be the first to do so. So Korea did it; Argentina did it. The US econ is so messed up thanks to Wall St it's time to pull teh plug.

Rogers has said repeatedly (and in this video again) that he is the world's worst market timer.

Jim Rogers on Bloomberg Video on June 5, 2008: He said he is: * Short: Investment bank ETF * Short: Citibank and Fannie Mae * Long: Airlines How has that stood up so far? Keep in mind, the S&P500 is down ~13% since then. * iShares Dow Jones US Broker-Dealers ETF (IAI) down ~23% - which he was short * Citibank (C) down 6% ; Fannie Mae (FNM) down 97% - both of which he was short * AMEX Airline Index 'XAL' up ~40% since June - which he was long This guy is good!
