No, Hezbolla defeated Israel's attempt to steal more land. They kicked Israel out of Lebanon. Having always maintained a defensive posture, they have no intention of attacking Israel.

Israel is a war mongering terrorist state bent on taking as much land as it can possibly grab. The latest attempt was in 2006 when Israel invaded Lebanon on the most flimsy and pathetic of excuses. They wanted all of that fertile land up to the Litany River, which Israel's early leaders stated was a desired goal. Hezbollah kicked their asses and they know that Iran is helping them and that's why they want to attack Iran.

The lebanese will never forget how hesbollah turned its guns against its own people after numerous promises that it would only use them against Israel.

and this attack on Hezbollah was well justified by international law
When states act in self-defense in response to an armed attack of aggression, they may use as much force as necessary to achieve the military objective.
The United States could use as much force as it needed in order to topple the regime in Afghanistan; it did not need to limit itself to the amount of force used by al-Qaeda in the 9/11 attacks.
